Introducing the Podcast Club 2024, a platform that embodies the theme "Expanding
Horizons: Insights from Entrepreneurs and Transformational Leaders". With the tagline
"Listen, Engage, Inspire," the club is designed to provide students with real-world
perspectives by learning from the experiences of entrepreneurs and corporate professionals.
This initiative aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry, fostering critical
thinking and inspiring entrepreneurial aspirations.
Our first recording of the Guest and her brief profile Simran Sharma is the Co-Founder of
Yodda, a technology company dedicated to providing safety and assistance solutions for
various demographics, including seniors and women. Starting her entrepreneurial journey at
19, Simran oversees Yodda's technology and operations. She holds a patent in AI-moderated
emergency response and has been recognized with the Business World 30 Under 30 award.
Simran is also a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment and has earned accolades in
the World Poker Tour (WPT).
Founded by Kashish Shatani, Unnati Jangir, Tanya Gurbaxani, Arti Jangid, Rashida
Virpurwala, and Srushti Kadam of the SYBBA 2024-2025 batch, under the mentorship of
Dr. Rama Venkatachalam and Abhradita Chatterjee Nahvi, the club serves as a platform
for continuous learning, networking, and career development
