IBM SKILL BUILD INNOVATION CAMP 2022-23
St. Mira's College for Girls signed an MOU with IBM SkillsBuild on 1st December 2022 for a year to enhance employment opportunities for students by building soft skills and earning industry-relevant training. Under this MOU, MSC (CS) students participated in innovation camp. The total duration of the Data Analytics Innovation Camp was 6 weeks, from 11th July to 19th August 2022 during which students of B.Sc. and M.Sc. (CS) had an opportunity to understand theoretical concepts and practical applications of Data Analytics. Students were divided into groups and had to work together each week, so that they could build a project model based on data analysis. The College won the second runner-up position for their project on handwritten digit reorganization. The activity was coordinated and arranged by Ms. Swatee Sarwate. A total of 19 students from St. Mira’s College for Girls from the CS stream participated in the same.

Department of Accountancy- MOU with ICAI,Pune Chapter- 04th January 2022
The Department of Accountancy signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the ICAI Pune Chapter on 4th January, 2022. The MOU is an academic collaboration between both the institutes towards professional development of the students and faculty.The collaboration aims to stimulate and facilitate mutually beneficial programs, which will serve to enhance the intellectual and cultural development in both organizations in the domain of Cost and Management Accounting, Accountancy and Taxation. The programs aimed are Career Counselling, talks by experts, practical training and internships, Industry visits and workplace expectations.The faculty of the Department of Accountancy visited the CMA Bhavan- ICAI, Pune Chapter to sign the MOU.
LOU with IBM SkillsBuild
St. Mira's College for Girls signed an LOU with IBM SkillsBuild on 1st December 2020, for a year, to enhance employment opportunities for students by building soft skills and earning industry-relevant training. This program covers the following points.
1. SkillsBuild is a free access digital learning platform that focuses on industry-relevant skill development in students and jobseekers above the age of 18 years. On successful completion of certain learning-activities, the students can earn IBM certified badges that can be uploaded directly on LinkedIn or stated on the CV. It consists of learning-activities from Coursera, Code Door, Udemy, Skillsoft, Google, IBM Skills Academy, and many which can be accessed for free once you register on the platform through us, CSRBOX
2. SkillsBuild is a free and internationally available online platform; it requires users to sign up through one of IBM country partners for accessing its contents.
3. Access to IBM SkillsBuild Platform
What SkillsBuild Offers: Professional skill development learning-activities that are industry-relevant, soft skill development, IBM certified badges, opportunity to participate in live projects, personalized coaching & mentoring, and access to courses from various platforms without any monetary investment.
What CSRBOX Offers: Hand-holding for online learning-activity development along with training in digital tools if needed. Impact amplification through podcasts, social-media blasts, and more.
This program is introduced for computer science graduates and BA students initially. The orientation for the program was held on 2nd December 2020; 130 students participated in the same.

TCS-AIP 2018-19
St. Mira’s College faculty participating in the TCS-AIP 2018-19
St. Mira’s College has signed a MoU with TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) for an AIP (Academic Interface Program). The objective of the program is to make the students corporate ready while still studying in college. This objective is met by training the college faculty and students on various industry-related domains like Banking, Insurance, F&A etc. In the year 2018-19 faculties from Commerce, Economics, Statistics and Mathematics attended a training program in retail analytics with TCS.

We are very pleased to communicate that St. Mira’s College has just signed a MoU with TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) for an AIP (Academic Interface Program). TCS has been conducting the AIP program since 2010 across colleges in India and abroad. The objective of the program is to make the students corporate ready while still studying in college. This objective is met by training the college faculty and students on various industry-related domains like Banking, Insurance, F&A etc. We have 13 such domains. Mr. Balanarayan G, TCS BPS - Global Head AIP, guided the staff of St. Mira’s College to the AIP program.
