A Webinar on “Careers in Commerce” was organised by the Department of Business Studies,
St. Mira’s College for Girls, Pune on 28th February 2024, for all the final year students on
Google Meet Platform from 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm. The speaker of this session was Ms.
Vishishta Nayak, a law mentor and career guidance expert who has taken several career
guidance seminars, focusing on the natural aptitude of students to guide them in going for the
best career option possible for them. In all 22 students attended this session.
The webinar proved to be a valuable resource for students seeking clarity and guidance in
navigating the diverse paths within the commerce sector. Students were left with a deeper
understanding of industry trends, career options, and the skills required to succeed. The
speaker emphasised on the fact that the commerce landscape continues to evolve, hence
staying informed and adaptable remains key to a successful career in this dynamic field.
The success of this webinar highlights the importance of such events in providing valuable
insights and guidance to students aspiring to pursue careers in commerce. Future initiatives of
this nature will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and development of
