Field Visit to Phule Wada and Dr. Ambedkar Museum - The Department of Politics and Public Administration (2023-24)
The Department of Politics and Public Administration organized a field visit to Mahatma Phule Wada
and Dr. Ambedkar Museum on 21 st and 22 nd February 2024. This visit was planned in accordance
with the teaching- learning of the Semester 6 syllabus of TYBA students.
The visit allowed students to appreciate the importance of understanding the historical context in
which political thinkers operated, recognizing the impact of their ideas on contemporary political
landscapes. The field visit to Phule Wada and the Ambedkar Museum proved to be a rich and
immersive experience for students of political thought. It connected theoretical concepts discussed
in the classroom with real-world examples, fostering a deeper appreciation for the interplay
between political thought, historical events, and social movements.
