Faculty Orientation conducted by IIT on Engaging Students in Field Projects and Community Engagement under NEP 2020
On Friday, 29 th June 2024, the Social Outreach Committee organised an insightful workshop for faculty members as part of the "Aple Prashna Aple Vidnyan" initiative under the Unnat Maharashtra Abhiyaan. The workshop was conducted by the UMA department of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. Resource persons for the workshop were Mr. Chirag and Ms. Rijyuta. The primary objectives of the workshop were to understand the importance of field projects and community engagement in the holistic development of students, Explore effective methods for integrating these projects into the curriculum and discuss various case studies and best practices from different educational institutions.
