A Tete-a-Tete with Indraneel Chitale - Centre for Women
Entrepreneurship (CWE) 2023-2024
An interactive session with Indraneel Chitale for the students of B.Com &
BBA was organized on 8 th August, 2023 in the AV Room by Dr.Rama
Venkatachalam, Coordinator of CWE. The resource person Mr. Indraneel
Chitale, 4 th generation entrepreneur of the 83 year old Chitale Bandhu,
shared the journey and success story of Chitale Bandhu since its inception
in 1939 till date.
His session was a good mix of a PowerPoint presentation, videos and
sharing of his own experiences with interesting anecdotes.
He elaborated on the success story of Bakarwadi and the nuances of the
Hi Tech Halwai!
The key learnings of the session were:
- 1. The importance of quality control
- 2. Understanding customer preferences
- 3. The power of creating your own brand.
- 4. The importance of Global presence and online platforms
- 5. The power of staying connected through social media
- 6. Future plans of Chitale Bandhu
The highlight of the session was the Q&A at the end. It was a very interesting, inspiring, and interactive session. A total of 151 students from B. Com & BBA and 8 faculty members attended the event.
