Students who have passed their SSC examination from a recognized State Board to seek admission at the entry level.
Students coming from other Board should seek the necessary eligibility permission from the Maharashtra Board located at Shivajinagar, Pune.
Autonomy is the privilege granted by a University to colleges affiliated to it to undertake some of the functions undertaken by the University itself.
The Government of Maharashtra in conjunction with NAAC selected us as one of the 12 Leading Institutions in the State to take the fast track to autonomy.
The University of Pune has placed its trust in St. Mira’s College and allowed the College to design B.A. / B.COM Degree courses to suit students’ and industry needs and conduct exams in the same.
A student can specialize in any one of the following four subjects: Economics, Sociology, English and Pyschology

POST GRADUATE PROGRAMME
The following Post Graduate programmes are conducted
A student who has passed B.Com / B.A. examination of the University of Pune or from any other recognized University (subject to the Eligibility granted by the University of Pune Authorities) shall be eligible for admission to revised M.Com /M.A. courses of the University.
St. Mira’s College for Girls, Pune offers a two-year Masters in Computer Science Program (M.Sc. Computer Science). This course allows students to increase their knowledge and understanding of computers and their systems, to prepare them for advanced positions in the workplace. This program is module based, and students engage in intensive training through lectures, supervised research, and small peer-led training. Coursework includes software engineering, system development, natural computation, mathematical foundations, networking basics and artificial intelligence. This program requires students to have earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
Students who successfully complete this advanced Computer Science program shall have an increased ability to think critically, rapidly and efficiently solve problems, and develop software. Students can find rewarding careers with local and central governments, software development companies, and information technology companies. Many students find great success as entrepreneurs in this field, while others explore further education in related doctoral programs.
