The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of St. Mira’s College for Girls, organized a National Faculty Development Program on “E-content Development” from 8 th July 2020 to 11 th July 2020.

The resource person for the FDP were Mrs Rupali Memane and Ms. Mrudula Jadhav, Assistant Professors at Arihant College, Pune

The FDP drew 132 participants representing a motley group of 76 faculties from different states of India including Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, UP and 56 faculties from Maharashtra, making it truly a National Level Faculty Development Program.

Day 1: Video Editing tool (OBS: Open Broadcaste Studio/ Openshot Video Editor)

Ms. Rupali Memane conducted session on Video editing tools [OBS: Open Broadcast studio/Openshot video editor].

Day 2 Working with Learning Management System (LMS) [CANVAS Instructure]

Ms. Mrudula Jadhav conducted a session to introduce CANVAS. The session was very useful as the participants learnt that Canvas LMS is a scalable platform that can be used by educational institutions of all sizes and types, from individual classrooms to large universities with a blended or fully virtual learning environment.

Day 3 Website design with WordPress:

Ms. Rupali Memane conducted session on WordPress, providing details on how to design their own website without using any programming language.

Day 4 Cisco WebEx and Whiteboard feature in detail

Ms. Mrudula Jadhav took session on Cisco WebEx to introduce the participants to the application for online teaching and use of whiteboard application.

All the session were interactive and ended up with the Q & A.

The program was co-ordinated by Monika Rajguru (BBA-CA Department) and Asst. Prof. Deepanjali Mazumder (Accountancy Department).
