CWE and IIC celebrates - World Entrepreneur's Day on 21 st August 2023
The Centre for Women Entrepreneurship at St Mira's College celebrated World Entrepreneur's Day with enthusiasm and creativity on August 21, 2023. The event aimed to promote entrepreneurship among the students and provide them with a platform to showcase their innovative ideas and products. This year, the event was proposed and executed by the Campus Ambassadors of CWE and had a unique twist with the theme centered around the renowned artist, Taylor Swift.
To facilitate a vibrant entrepreneurial atmosphere, the organizers set up a series of stalls in the AV room, each showcasing a variety of products. The entire space was adorned with Taylor Swift-inspired decorations, creating an engaging environment for both participants and visitors. The event featured an array of students who displayed their creative products for sale. The products ranged from jewelry and bookmarks to resin keychains and customizable cloth bags. Some of the items were specially designed to align with the Taylor Swift theme, further enhancing the event's distinctiveness.
A total of 14 different stalls were set up, each offering a diverse range of items from accessories to food items. Students presented their products with passion and flair, showcasing their commitment to entrepreneurship.
The event stands as a testament to the college's dedication to empowering women in business and promoting their entrepreneurial aspirations. The success of this event would not have been possible without the combined efforts of the Campus Ambassador of CWE, studentpreneurs, the organizing team led by Dr. Rama Venkatachalam and Ms. Abhradita Chatterjee Navhi, and the enthusiastic participation of the college.
