About AICTE
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was set up in November 1945 as a national- level apex advisory body to conduct a survey on the facilities available for technical education and to promote development in the country in a coordinated and integrated manner. And to ensure the same, as stipulated in the National Policy of Education (1986),
AICTE was vested with:
- Statutory authority for planning, formulation, and maintenance of norms & standards
- Quality assurance through accreditation
- Funding in priority areas, monitoring, and evaluation
- Maintaining parity of certification & awards
- The management of technical education in the country
The purview of AICTE (the Council) covers programmes of technical education including training and research in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Town Planning, Management, Pharmacy, Applied Arts and Crafts, Hotel Management and Catering Technology etc. at different levels.

BBA - Bachelors in Business Administration
About the program - The AICTE-approved BBA program at St. Mira's College for Girls provides a comprehensive education in business and management, equip students for various roles in the corporate sector. - The Placement Cell actively seeks new career avenues through company visits, campus recruitments, and internships. It also organizes pre-placement activities like company briefings to provide insight into career paths, job profiles, and compensation packages, followed by selection processes such as tests, group discussions, and interviews.
