St Mira’s College for Girls, Pune, is the recipient of the prestigious Atal Achievement Award for Education, 2022. This Award was received by Dr. Jaya Rajagopalan, Principal In-charge along with Dr G. H Gidwani, Director, Mira Education Board, Sadhu Vaswani Mission on Wednesday, 21st December, 2022, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, in the presence of several eminent Ministers, representing the Centre, Government of India as well as different State Governments. This Award Ceremony was organized by Topgallant Media and telecast on India News.

This award commends the ingenuity, hard work and results attained by trailblazers in the educational domain. The College was recognised for its excellence in women empowerment through value-based education. This honour is the culmination of the concerted efforts of the College Management, its teaching and non-teaching staff, from the time of its inception till date and serves as a befitting outcome of the 60 glorious years of the College’s existence [1962-2022].
