Dr. Rama Venkatachalam

Program Co-ordinator

Dr. Rama Venkatachalam is the Program Coordinator and Professor & Head of the Department of Commerce at St. Mira’s College for Girls, Pune. She also leads as the Coordinator of the Centre for Women Entrepreneurship (CWE) and serves as the President of the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), an initiative by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.

With over 30 years of teaching experience, Dr. Venkatachalam specializes in subjects like Entrepreneurship, Management and Organizational Behaviour. She is a member of the Board of Studies (BoS) at various esteemed institutions and is also an International Examiner.

A recognized Research Guide in Business Practices at SPPU, Pune, she has presented research papers at international and national conferences and published them in reputed journals. Dr. Venkatachalam has successfully completed two ICSSR-funded Minor Research Projects.

Mrs. Amrita Basu

Mrs. Amrita Basu, with 19 years of experience, holds an MA in Economics and is SLET-qualified. She is pursuing here Ph.D. on the demographic transition in India and its impact on economic growth. She specializes in teaching Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, and Research Methodology, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her students

Mrs. Abhradita Chatterjee Nahvi

Asst. Professor, Department of BBA

Mrs. Abhradita Chatterjee Nahvi, an Assistant Professor at BBA department and holds an MPhil in Business Administration and Masters in Personnel Management. She is pursuing a PhD in Business Practices focused on Diversity, Inclusion and Employee Performance. With over 19 years of academic and corporate experience, her expertise lies in Personality Development, Human Resource Management, mentoring entrepreneurs, and fostering innovation as Vice President of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) an initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India

Mrs. Kajal Jaisinghani

Asst. Professor, Department of BBA

Mrs. Kajal Jaisinghani is an Assistant Professor with 8 years of experience, holding an M.Com and SET qualification, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration with a focus in Work Life Balance in Start-ups firms. She specializes in teaching Management subjects such as Business Ethics, Principles of Management, Organizational Behaviour, to name a few, at the BBA and BBA (CA). She also is the Placement Cell Coordinator for BBA Program.

Dr. Madhura Wagh

Dr. Madhura Wagh holds an M.Com, M.Phil, and SET qualifications. Her doctorate was focused in Entrepreneurship Development within Management Institutes. With 10 years of teaching experience, she specializes in subjects such as Financial Statement Analysis, Case Studies in Finance, Financial Management, Principles of Finance and Management Information Systems.

Mrs. Deepali Gupta

Asst. Professor, Department of BBA(CA)

Mrs. Deepali Gupta holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and a Bachelor of Computer Science (B.C.S.), with 15 years of extensive teaching experience. Her areas of expertise include Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), Database Management Systems (DBMS), C++, and the .NET Framework. She also serves as the Placement Coordinator for the BBA CA program.

Mrs. Monika Rajguru

Asst. Professor, Department of BBA(CA)

Mrs. Monika Rajguru holds an M.Phil in Computer Science, an M.Sc in Computer Science, and a Bachelor of Computer Science (B.C.S.), and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus on "Analysis of Performance Efficiency of Selected Mining Algorithms in Blockchain." With 15 years of teaching experience, she is also the author of a book on ERP published by Success Publication. Her expertise spans a range of subjects including Operating Systems, Python, PHP, Web Technology, and Software Engineering.

Her attention to detail and organizational skills have been instrumental in supporting the academic and administrative functions of the department.

Payal Ramphale, a B. Com graduate with 2.5 years of administrative experience, is a dedicated and detail-oriented professional. Her strong foundation in commerce, combined with her hands-on experience in office management, enables her to efficiently handle various administrative tasks, from coordinating schedules to managing documentation

Prajakta Waghela

As a Lab Assistant with a B.Com degree and being a fresher, she brings strong organizational and administrative skills, along with keen attention to detail and a willingness to learn the technical aspects of lab operations. She also has basic computer skills and ensures that all safety protocols are followed diligently.
