Department of Physical Education-Guest Lecture on “Face Yoga” (2022-23)
The Department of Physical Education organized a guest lecture on ”Face Yoga” on 7 th February 2023 under the program Fit India Movement. This session was conducted for all students and staff members. Face Yoga is a series of exercises and stretches for face muscles. It improves the blood circulation, makes facial muscles strong, reduce stress and stops aging process.
Dr. Manali Deo (Gharpure) (Founder Director, Mind and Body Yoga Institute Pune and International Level Yoga Coach, Player and Referee) explained the importance of different faces stretches. She also demonstrated and practiced various face stretches. She also taught different massage techniques that can be done with moisturizers to uplift one’s face. She also suggested the practice of Face Yoga daily for 10-15 mins to look beautiful and young.
