Guest Lecture by Arena Animation on the “Future in Gaming and Virtual Production”
Ae guest lecture was organized on 21st March 2023 for the students of all departments .The speaker Mr. Kishin Thakur (pan India head of the Gaming Department, Aptech Limited) along with Mr. Nikhil Halli and Mr. Vijay Nadekar conducted the college.
The Institute has great experience working with movies such as RRR, Brahmāstra and many more. To begin with animation, they briefly addressed the fundamentals & techniques of pre-production, anatomy design, animatic, visualization, character design & development, animation scene planning, 2D animation, and 3D animation , VFX, Gaming Boot camp and much more. They also informed us about their advantages; emphasizing that in addition to learning animation students should learn the latest graphical skills which are trending in IT and gaming industries.
Subsequently, they also showed the implementation of VFX, metaverse , live gaming. They played a quiz game where in they helped the students to come-up with innovative gaming ideas. They outlined the career options and scope in the gaming and graphical animation industry. The session was extremely interesting for the students; they got an opportunity to hear and learn about the trending courses. The session was concluded with an interactive question and answer session.
