A workshop on DEI on spotlight was organised by the BBA and BBA-CA department for the students. The resource person was Ms Swaroop Gokhale who is the Lead of DI in Persistent Systems Ltd., The main Objective of the workshop was to address to students about the following :
How to be inclusive from organisation point of view?
This objective likely focused on helping students understand the importance of inclusivity within organizations. Inclusivity in the workplace is about creating an environment where everyone, regardless of their background, feels valued, respected, and included.Change Management from HR perspective
The objective here was to educate students about the principles and practices of effective change management, emphasizing HRs role in guiding employees through transitions while ensuring minimal disruption.DEI in the Spotlight
The objective delved into the significance of DEI in the contemporary business landscape. DEI initiatives are gaining increasing attention due to their positive impact on organizational culture, innovation, and performance. Resource Person Ms. Swaroop Gokhale, as the Lead of DI in Persistent Systems Ltd., shared insights and case studies to illustrate how DEI can be a strategic advantage for businesses, drawing attention to best practices and potential challenges.
Total Number of students who attended the workshop was 142 students and 03 faculty members.
