Centre for Women Entrepreneurship (CWE)-Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) was honoured and privileged to inaugurate its annual flagship event, Mira Bazaar: The Women Entrepreneurs’ Show- A step towards Social Inclusion at the hands of the esteemed NAAC Peer Team on Monday, 17 th April, 2023 on the College ground. The inaugural ceremony started with the lighting of lamp by the NAAC Peer Team Chairperson, Prof. E. Ramganesh Ekambaram, Co-ordinator, Prof. Seema Malik, Member, Dr. Swapna M., . The event witnessed a large gathering of staff members, CWE campus ambassadors, volunteers, students, alumni, parents, and friends. The event attracted 498 visitors.
Mira Bazaar iss a great place to shop, eat, play and celebrate with the merchandise and servicing ranging from bags made from jeans, incense sticks made from cow ding, variety of clothing, accessories, resin art, tote bags, delicious food items, home décor and games. Mira Bazaar is an experiential learning platform provided to the studentpreneurs to nurture and showcase their experiential learning talents. NGOs like Govastsa and the Poornam Eco Vision Foundation were invited for promotion at the Women Entrepreneurs Show. Oberoi Overseas Education, Times and Trends Academy, sponsors, supported the event. Under the guidance of the CWE, the students completely plan and run the Entrepreneurial show successfully.
