Department of Economics - Intercollegiate Poster Making Competition
The Department of Economics and Club MiRaNomics held an Intercollegiate Economics Poster Making Competition on Tuesday, 24 th January 2023. This competition was open for all Undergraduate students. This is the first year a department has allowed the Junior College Students to participate in the competition. 27 participants from across Pune have registered to compete. Students from various colleges were registered e.g., Ferguson College, Ramkrishna More College, Dnyanprabhodhani College, St. Vincent College etc. Out of 27 registrations 9 students participated in the competition. It was an offline event.
The topics currently being discussed in India were the themes or subjects of the competition e.g., Sustainable Development, International Millet Year, Atmanirbhar Bharat and One Earth One Family One Future. The Sustainable Development theme was attempted by 2 students. 4 students drew posters on One Earth One Family One Future and 3 posters were on Atmanirbhar Bharat. Dr. Deepa Krishnamurthy (Faculty, St. Mira’s College for Girls) and Miss. Komal Tujare (Faculty, St. Mira’s College for Girls) judged the competition. All the participants were given participation certificates. The coordinator of the competition was Ms. Amruta Narke
