The Department of Marathi – Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din (2023-2024)
The Department of Marathi organized a Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din with the title ‘Bhasha, Sahitya Aani Sanskruti’ on 17 th February 2024, in the Indulakshmi Auditorium from 10:30am to 12.30 pm. A total of 61 Students & 10 Faculty members participated in the event & presented Abhangas, Gavlans, poetry recitations, monologues, PPT presentations, and dances like Shivchatrapati Jeevancharitra Prasang Darshan, Maharashtrachya Suvarnkanya, Laavni, Gondhal, Barchi & Dhavaj Nrutya, Manglagauriche Khel Etc. The performances were enrapturing and drew prolonged applause. Several of our girls were dressed in the traditional 9 yard sarees and looked gorgeous! They performed with grace and enthusiasm. The program was concluded with a Pasaydaan. All in all, Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din rocked!
