Students of St. Mira's College along with faculty members visited Mission Possible Pet House, a pet adoption service in Pune.
Mission Possible is a home for abandoned cats and dogs. 15 student volunteers from FYBBA and SYBBA class on 07 th Mar 2024, accompanied by faculty coordinators Ms Abhradita Chatterjee Nahvi and Ms Amrita Basu visited the place.
Mission Possible is an independent adoption home run by Miss Padmini Stump . At present it has two centres including one at Saswad and another one at Mahatma Phule Peth. Currently, the shelter holds under it's care, 1300 dogs and 400 cats.
We reached the shelter at around 4:00 pm. Collectively students of St Mira's had collected Rupees 7000/- and brought medicines and vaccines for the noble cause.
The owner shared her story, saying that she started the shelter, on the advice of Dada Vaswani. After losing her son, Dada told her "Serve animals as they will help you heal"
With this thought in mind, Mission Possible was founded in 2016. Since then, animals here, are kept under protection and are given unconditional love, warmth and care.
