Centre for Women Entrepreneurship- Session on“Business Model Canvas” (2022-2023)
St. Mira’s College for Girls and Centre for Women Entrepreneurship (CWE) organized an IIC calendar activity, on Business Model Canvas on 8thAugust 2022 at 11.15 am in the AV Room.The Resource person, Dr. Aparna Rao (Associate Professor, NMIMS, Mumbai), has tremendous experience in Entrepreneurship and SHGs.The session was organized to help students understand the relevance and need of Business Model Canvas and the different types of business models for entrepreneurs and to understand the different template for developing new business models.
The Speaker Dr. Aparna Rao spoke onthe Entrepreneurial mindset andBusiness opportunities available;How an idea can become an opportunity; Critical success factors for a venture; Industry barriers;Team domains andBusiness Model Canvas as a tool. A discussion on value proposition of a well-known company UBER was also held. The session provided the students with insights into various entrepreneurial aspects. The session also encouraged the students to put forth their doubts which in turn lead to interesting discussions.95 students and 5 faculty participated in the event .
