Workshop on Newspaper Bag-making - Green Club 2022-23
The Green Club members conducted a workshop on “Red Dot Newspaper Bag Making” for sanitary disposal on Thursday, 29th September 2022. This was an exercise in learning-by- doing’; in-house Green Club faculty, Mrs. Deepanjali Mazumder, taught the students the nuances of newspaper-bag making. More than 80 bags were made by the students. These bags were placed in the washrooms to be used for disposing sanitary waste. This was an informative session as it gave an insight into safe disposal of sanitary waste and reuse of newspapers. This exercise will help students become responsible citizens and contribute towards environment conservation.
