It is my privilege to welcome you to the Mira family. Today, India is on the threshold of stupendous growth and I know you all look forward to entering this world of opportunity with élan.
There will be many challenges faced by you as citizens of this great country- shortage of water, growing pollution, depleting natural resources, depletion of available land for agriculture, lack of availability of uniform opportunity to all citizens, the problem of injected terrorism and of course vital moral dilemmas such as efficiency and ethics, wealth and welfare, profits and piety, failures and faith, and competition and conscience.
St. Mira’s College provided a secure space for girls like me. As I completed my graduation and post-graduation, I learnt many life skills which helped me look at my problems more meaningfully.
Current pursuing M.Phil. Student, KSP Women’s Studies Centre, SPPU (BA-Sociology Special, 2012, 2014)
My journey at St Mira's has been a fulfilling one. It has resulted in my holistic development as an individual. St Mira's College has kindled the light of the path of my academic success that resulted in my admission at the London School of Economics and Political Science. St Mira’s College for me is an institution that not only nurtures fine academic minds but builds character of every student fortunate to be a part of the Mira journey.
